Bakelite Cigarette Art Deco Match Trinket Jewelry BoxlBack bakelite covered box. Presented for yoru consideration a fine and early, covered cigarette or tobacco box. Surely this fantastic vessel could also be used as a jewelry, trinket, playing card box. A little rub exudes that phenol smell, that bakelite collectors know! Surely the design. Is unmistakably art deco which would date the vintage to what. Late 30's early 40's? Condition wise it muts be considered vintage excellent! Theer are no cracks or chips. The flat bottom shows normal wear and the sides and top have a bit of normal dust.
Each long side sports a bit of scotch tape, from when the box was once sealed. Hmm. The interiro is clean and odorless. Some may want to buff this bakelite up a bit but it's.
