1950S Kaiser Ceiling Lamp Art Deco Bauhaus Modernist You are bdiding on an original 1950s kaiser leuchten ceiling lamp. The lampshade is made of sheet metal lacquered dark green with a decorative nickel plated cone housing the bulb casing.
The lampshade has been lacquered white on the inside for ligth reflection. There is a white ceiling cone. The kaiser leuchten label is still present inside the ceiling cone and reads 'kaiser leuchtne 49157/013'.
The lamp is in good condition, there are some age related marks on the green and white lacquer work. The ceiling cone also presetns with some yellowing and a chip. The nickel plated work is in good condition but there are some blemishes on the top part of the cone. It is in full working order and takes one edison screw (screwfit) bulb. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisalbe to have it checked by a qualified electrician. Please note ew specialise in selling vintage items. Although ew strive to give as accurate a description as possible, patina and age-related wear are to be expected. However, we will always indicate any noticeable defects. What a beatuiful lamp! The great design and attention to detail is typical of kaiser leuchten. An absolute muts for any collector! Why buy new? You can invest a classic vintage piece thta will never loose it's value.
